Educational Centre for ICT

Alongside traditional videoconferencing, which is commonly used in distance learning, new, more user-friendly solutions have emerged. These are lighter, browser-based web conferencing systems accessible via end users’ personal computers. The Open University, the Educational Centre for Information and Communication Technologies and the IT Centre at the University of Helsinki piloted the Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro (ACP) program last year.
