Moodle is the web-based learning environment (LMS = learning management system) at the University of Helsinki, which is recommended when you need an interactive environment that combines all-in-one for your course community.
With the alternatives that Moodle provides, you can create an activative course where you share learning material, distribute course information, give instructions and arrange discussions with your students. Moodle has various tools for editing and submitting learning assignments and even a tool for taking web-based exams.
We are currently using Moodle version 2.6 (since June 2014).
